We are holding our first general meeting of members as a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) this month. Northern Hull Community Rainbow Gardens was first registered as a charity in 2006. Since then, it’s grown and changed, so last year we registered a new charity under the same name: a CIO. Under this new charitable structure, the garden will continue with all the same activities, and the same people and space, but has its own legal personality. This provides some protection to trustees, from personal liability.
At our General Meeting of Members, we will present the final annual report for the charity, under its previous structure (this report is available on the charities commission website) and our plans for the future. All are welcome to join us.
We will meet virtually, using Microsoft Teams, at 7pm on Tuesday 26th April. If you’d like to request a link to join, please get in touch using the contact button below.
