Judges overall remarks – “Rainbow Community Garden continues to be a very good example of how grassroots volunteers with enthusiasm and dedication can transform under-valued local spaces into vibrant, engaging and welcoming places for the whole community.”
Community Growing in North Hull
We’ve been maintaining trees, shrubs and wildlife areas, growing vegetables and salad crops, and holding crafting activities in our community garden since 1998
Why garden?
Get some fresh air. Our garden is a beautiful spot where you can hear the birds singing and see life all around you.
Meet new people. We are a friendly bunch and everyone is welcome. Come see for yourself – we’ll make you a cuppa!
Learn new skills. We can help you get going with some planting out and weeding, or maybe you can get creative with some painting.
