Regular volunteers at Rainbow Garden Hull will know that our activities aren’t just limited to the garden site. We get out and about in the community too.
Each year, volunteers and staff from the garden take part in a memorial ceremony at Oppy Wood around the time of Remembrance Sunday.
Beforehand, we also operate a clean-up operation, supported by Hull City Council.

As you can see, we make a proper event of the litter pick, bringing along hot water for tea, and even some biscuits.
We can confirm that you can definitely have fun while doing something worthwhile. Get in touch if you’d like to join us next time.
